Good Taste in Creative Work

May 3rd, 2013

I heard this Ira Glass interview a while ago. It sat very well with me. Then it stood up and left. Then it came across my Internet findings again. I’m glad I came across it and am able to share it with you this morning. I wanted to post the typography version rather than the actual interview so you can READ what is being said. Take it in more. It’s a great point.

There is a beginning point in every journey. Every genius didn’t start out a genius. You ramp up to become great. It’s hard to see that because we want what we want NOW. Not everyone is blessed with an enate and natural understanding of things. It rarely happens. So you will start as a sucky beginner and then reach your full potential via trips, falls, f*ck-ups and more. They are lessons though.

Happy Friday.

I'm the creator. Of this site that is. I'm full of ideas and just trying to figure out how to get them out. Following God's path to my version of greatness.
