Batman: Arkham Night Trailer – “Father to Son”

March 5, 2014

Look, I’ve had this inner battle with myself ever since the PS4 and XBox One has been released. I want one. It’s just a matter of when I’m going to get it. I’m trying to hold off until they cut the prices on them but with games like Batman: Arkham Night and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes coming out this year, it’s making it extremely difficult to NOT get one ASAP.

The trailers to the Batman series of video games have been epic. This last one is nothing short of that. The game is set to be released sometime this year.

This is one of the songs that I attribute to getting me to being a lyricist. The only people that can go back and forth as good as Ghost and Rae are Styles and Jadakiss.

Responsive “Hexi” Wall Installation

February 26, 2014

Just let me point out that this is real. It’s not CGI or some type of video tomfoolery. These 60 hexagonal modules are responding to the person’s movements. They’re created by Canada based designer, Thibault Sld. The piece uses a depth camera to interpret nearby motion data to the modules that have a mechanical servos embedded into them. It’s extremely impressive.

After the break is a GIF of how the mechanics behind the piece work.

More after the break…

Steve Stout on Breakfast Club

February 26, 2014

I love The Breakfast Club and listen to it as often as I can. I wish they were syndicated show out here in Atlanta without the app. But I digress. They recently had marketing/advertising guru, Steve Stout. If you’re not familiar with Steve then you should. He has his finger on the pulse of hip-hop business and has been a force pushing it forward for a long time now. He went from music exec to the marketing mastermind he is today.

He the Breakfast Club show to promote his new VH1 documentary, The Tanning of America. I’m definitely going to have to watch this documentary. It’s also a book so make sure you check that out also.
